스마트 그리드(Smart grid)는 전기의 생ㅇ산, 운반, 소비 과정에 정보통신기술(IT)을 접목하여 공급자와 소비자가 서로 상호작용함으로서 효율성을 높인 지능형 전력망시스템이다.

 

스마트 그리드의 핵심은 지그비(Zigbee), 전력선통신(PLC) 등의 정보통신기술(IT)을 융합해 소비자와 전력회사가 실시간으로 정보를 주고받는 것에 있다.

1. 개요

- IEEE 802.15.4-2003을 기반으로 한 저전력 전파사용 HIGH LEVEL 통신프로토콜이다.

- 낮은 데이터율, 적은 배터리 소모, 네트워크 안정성을 요구하는 RF 어플리케이션에 사용한다.

- 868MHz, 902~928MHz, 2.4GHz에서 동작하는 무선 개인영역 통신망 규격이다.

- 통상적으로 50M이내의 거리에 떨어져 있는 최대 255개 주변장비를 제어하고 최고 250Kbps의 속도로 데이터 전송이 이루어진다.
